Bill Tweedy

Bill grew up in Pelham NY and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1984. He attended Gettysburg College from 1984 to 1986 before transferring to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott Arizona. He graduated from ERAU in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Air Studies Management. After graduating in 1989 Bill moved to Washington DC where he worked for Butler Aviation and Transamerica Financial Services. Bill ultimately moved back to Westchester in 1993 and joined The Rosol Agency where he worked with Joe Solimine Jr. to grow the agencies personal lines department.

After leaving Rosol in 1999 he spent 10 years in the online advertising business working for companies like Doubleclick, Experian and Shop.Com. While at Shop.Com, Bill served as Sr. Director of Sales and was an active member of the Senior Management Team. Bill rejoined forces with Joe Solimine Jr. in the insurance industry in 2009. He currently runs the Fairfield CT office for Meridian Risk Management and resides in Fairfield CT with his wife of 12 years Susan and their two daughters Catherine (7) and Meredith (4).

Bill takes great pride in supporting Meridian clients with their ongoing risk management needs. His areas of focus include technology, advertising and direct response media agencies and upscale personal lines insurance. Bill enjoys skiing, golf, boating, fishing and of course spending time with his family.
