KARYN DARÉ

Karyn DaRe Karyn is a New York native, who majored in International Studies and minored in French at IONA College. She fostered her love of foreign languages by studying part time in Paris, France while in college.

Karyn started in the insurance industry in 1993 with Alexander and Alexander. She put her foreign language skills to use (she speaks Portuguese, Spanish and French) by working in A&A's Global Group. She subsequently worked for large firms like A.J. Gallagher and then AON for seven years. Karyn led the BioTech department while at AON, while also managing several other clients in all walks of life, i.e. manufacturing, technology, financial institutions schools, retail, not for profits.

After several years in the ABC houses, she realized this way of business was missing the 'personal touch' that was so important to foster and nurture long standing client relationships. She happily landed at Meridian Risk Management where she leads the Commercial Lines Department.

She is married, residing close to Pelham. She has studied martial arts for a large portion of her life and is a brown belt in Isshinryu Karate. Please pay your premiums on time! : )
